Due to the new flexible chassis code, some user-made mods broke. Cars would sometimes develop suspension that folded upward like a mushroom cap. Mod creators had to re-export their JBeam files to comply with 0.8's node limits.
Just updated to 0.8 and… wow. The ETK I-series remaster is gorgeous – new interiors alone are worth it. Tire thermals actually matter now (good luck on cold slicks). West Coast USA feels way more alive with the extra foliage and road networks.
