Lx1692 Protection — Pin ((full))
On the inverter board, look for:
If you have confirmed that the protection pin is being triggered due to an internal IC fault, replacement is straightforward:
Detects high-voltage arcing that could damage the transformer or display. Programmable Time Out (C_TO Pin): lx1692 protection pin
If the lamps fail to strike (ignite) within ~1 second of startup, the protection pin sees no valid AC current-derived voltage. The chip assumes a missing load and turns off.

: The LX1692's protection suite is highly rated for preventing "arc" conditions and "corona discharge," which significantly prolongs the life of the inverter module and LCD panel.
In some designs, a separate pin ( ISEN or FB ) handles current regulation, while the protection pin remains dedicated to OVP. Check the exact datasheet. Need the LX1692 datasheet
Connect a 100kΩ resistor from the protection pin to a 3.3V or 5V standby rail to "fool" the IC into thinking current is always present. Method B (Disable by Grounding): Short the protection pin directly to ground via a 10Ω resistor.
Connects to an external capacitor to set the striking time-out duration. Current Sense:
