Voip Not Working Fix: Battlefield 4

I’m having trouble getting VOIP to work in Battlefield 4. I can see the speaker icons lighting up when squadmates talk, but I can’t hear them. Similarly, my icon lights up when I press the talk key, but nobody can hear me. What I've checked:

VOIP is enabled and volume is set to 100%. Keybinding: I am using the default [Left Alt] key to talk.
