Starcraft Brood War Expansion -no Install- Review

Creating a portable version of Brood War was not as simple as dragging and dropping files from the CD. The original Blizzard installer did several things that a raw file copy could not:

The "No Install" version directly enabled the explosion of guerrilla LAN parties. In an era before widespread broadband and cloud gaming, moving a game required physical media. A scratched CD could end a tournament; a missing CD-key could disqualify a player. The cracked executable removed these barriers. Starcraft Brood War Expansion -No Install-
