Klipper is highly recommended for the DLC V2.1 due to easier pin management.
: Controls up to 3 axes (X, Y, Z) with support for 4 stepper motors (typically dual Y-axis for stability in laser cutters). Firmware : Runs open-source GRBL 1.1f . Key Features MKS DLC32 WIFI CNC Control Board Review Makerbase Mks Dlc V2.1 Manual
Use LaserGRBL for engraving or Candle (GRBL Control) for CNC milling. Baud Rate: Set your software communication speed to 115200 .
[Power Supply 24V] --> VIN (+) & GND (-) on MKS DLC [Laser Module] --> PWM (Signal) + GND to Laser PWM/TTL input [Stepper X] --> 2B, 2A, 1A, 1B (coil wiring) [Endstop X min] --> X- pin & GND [USB] --> PC (for LaserGRUB/LightBurn) Key Features MKS DLC32 WIFI CNC Control Board
Miswiring EXP1 to EXP2 will short the 5V rail. Always match the red line on your ribbon cable to Pin 1.
: Integrated X, Y, and Z stop interfaces with 5V signal voltage. Always match the red line on your ribbon cable to Pin 1
⚠️ Do not connect laser power directly through the board. The board only provides control signal (PWM). The laser diode requires its own power supply.
Connect your laser module to the TTL/PWM port. This allows the software to control the laser intensity.
