WhereIsIt Lite reads only the file allocation table and folder structure. It does not copy the actual file contents. A standard full DVD (4.7GB) takes approximately 20–40 seconds to catalog. A CD takes roughly 10 seconds. The resulting database file is tiny—usually less than 1MB per disc.
