The disbelievers mockingly ask, “When will this promise come to pass?” Allah answers with a sudden blast ( As-Sayhah ) that will end all life, followed by the Trumpet Blast ( Sur ) that will raise the dead. The Surah vividly describes the opening of records, the speech of the body parts (hands and feet will testify), and the rewards of Paradise versus the chains of Hell.
