The (based on the final Renesas reference code) uses a more permissive power management profile. It also correctly reports XHCI capabilities to legacy BIOS/UEFI implementations that do not follow the 1.0 standard.
Right-click the device > > Driver tab. If the driver date is after 2015 and the provider is "Microsoft", but your USB 3.0 ports are flaky, you need the 0.96 driver.
