In Civil 3D 2023, importing survey data required the Survey Database interface. In 2024, the has been streamlined. You can now drag-and-drop FBK (Field Book) or CSV files directly into the Prospector tab. The software auto-detects the format (NEZ, PENZD, etc.). The new "Survey Figure Prefix Database" allows auto-assigning layers to breaklines as they are imported.
