Using the wrong version of the Adjustment Program (e.g., a version for the L380 on an L382) can corrupt the EEPROM. This creates a “brick” – a printer that is completely unresponsive, not even turning on.

On the Epson L382, the waste ink pad rarely fills up to a dangerous level under normal home use. The error often appears prematurely due to aggressive automatic cleaning cycles.

Cancel all pending print jobs in the Windows Print Queue.

The program will prompt you to turn off your printer. Turn the printer off, then back on. Important Maintenance Note 🛠️
