Taiga Aisaka stood frozen, her small frame looking even more fragile than usual. Standing before her was a man in an expensive suit, offering a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. It was her father.

While the rest of the class is stressing over wrestling moves, Taiga is fighting a battle of her own. All day, her cell phone buzzes incessantly with calls from a contact saved simply as "Stupid Bastard".
