By applying a LUT as an ICC Profile, you are fundamentally changing the color interpretation of the raw data without destroying the editability of the image. You can still adjust your curves, levels, and layers on top of the LUT without the image falling apart. That’s a feeling you can grade into existence

As of 2025, Phase One has been slow to adopt full LUT management (no browser, no blending modes). However, the user demand for integration is forcing evolution. Third-party developers have filled the gap, making it possible to transform any .cube file into a native .costyle with ease.

Not all LUTs are created equal. When searching for bundles, look for packs that specifically mention .costyle compatibility or provide high-resolution .cube files (33-point or 65-point).
