The genesis of Little Witch Academia is almost as magical as the show itself. In 2013, director Yoh Yoshinari, known for his dynamic animation style and work on Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill , was given the opportunity to helm a short film for the Japan Animation Creators Association (JAniCA).

Little Witch Academia is a celebrated anime franchise created by Yoh Yoshinari and produced by Studio Trigger.
