Coreldraw: X4

CorelDraw X4 was the version where PowerTRACE—the bitmap-to-vector tracing engine—truly matured. While previous iterations existed, X4 integrated it directly into the workflow, offering dynamic controls for removing backgrounds and converting poor-quality JPEGs into clean vector paths. This was a lifesaver for sign makers and screen printers who frequently had to convert client-supplied raster images into cuttable vectors.
