Simcity 4 No - Cd Patch Download [portable]

The official patch requires the game to think it is installed on C: drive by default (even if it is on D: or E: ).

When SimCity 4 was released in 2003, installing a game from a CD-ROM was the standard. The game utilized SafeDisc or SecuROM copy protection, which required the user to have the physical disc in the drive to launch the game.

With the No-CD patch applied, your city will never be held hostage by a spinning piece of polycarbonate again. Now go build that arcology, and remember to check your water pipe connections.

The No-CD patch does not solve this. You need to install the SC4Fix DLL or run the game in Software Render mode via the -d:soft launch command. Alternatively, add this to your shortcut target: "C:\...\SimCity 4.exe" -CPUCount:1 -CustomResolution:enabled -r1920x1080x32
