The story begins with a grisly prison transport crash near the town of Fairlake. The infamous killer Maynard Odets (played by Doug Bradley – yes, Pinhead from Hellraiser ) is being transferred, but the accident allows him to escape into the woods. Soon after, five friends heading to the Mountain Men Festival cross paths with Maynard and the inbred cannibal family.
The Wrong Turn franchise has become a cult classic in the horror genre, known for its brutal kills, backwoods cannibals, and relentless tension.
