Creating a tech pack from scratch for every single design is a time-consuming endeavor. While every garment is unique, the structure of the information required remains largely consistent. A t-shirt, a dress, and a pair of jeans all require specifications for measurements, materials, and labeling.

The BOM is the shopping list. If you don't list it, the factory won't buy it. Your template needs a table with columns for:

A sketch cannot show how to sew. Use text in your template:

Never send a working file (.ai or .xls). Factories have different software versions. Export as a flattened, high-resolution PDF. Name the file: BRAND_FW24_BASIC_TEE_V3.pdf (Never use FINAL.doc ). The BOM is the shopping list
