Renderman Blockland

In the vast, blocky universe of user-generated sandbox games, few titles have inspired as much creative technical tinkering as Blockland. Released in 2004 by Eric Hartman (Badspot), this Lego-like multiplayer building game fostered a passionate modding community. While most players were content building castles and race tracks, a subculture of "brickfilmers" and cinematic editors pushed the game's primitive graphics to their absolute limit.
