The classic Hiren’s BootCD (based on Windows XP / Mini XP) is now outdated. The modern version is Hiren’s BootCD PE (Preinstallation Environment) based on Windows 10/11. However, the modern PE version is 64-bit only and will not boot on 32-bit only CPUs. If you truly need a 32-bit rescue environment , you must use the old Hiren’s BootCD 15.2 (final 32-bit release).
