Once the spotlight is secured, the dictator moves to control the narrative. "The Dictator Script" dictates that reality is malleable. Before the physical prisons are built, the intellectual prison is constructed.

Notice the ambiguity. The threat is never fully defined because an undefined threat can never be defeated. This creates a permanent state of emergency. And a permanent emergency requires a permanent leader.

The next time you hear a leader—of a country, a company, or a family—say that the danger is everywhere, that only they can save you, that the enemy must be named and purged, and that normal rules no longer apply… pause.

When you hear someone being dehumanized, say: “That person is still a human being. They still have rights. We do not solve problems by eliminating people.”
