Set Password Winrar

Never email the password in the same email as the attachment. Send the file via email and the password via .

Right-click on the highlighted files. From the context menu, hover over and select Add to archive... (Alternatively, open WinRAR via the Start Menu and drag/drop files into the window). set password winrar

A pop-up window will ask for your password. Never email the password in the same email as the attachment

Note: Do not select "Add to [filename].rar" immediately. That option uses default settings and skips the password prompt. You must select "Add to archive..." to access the settings window.

Click on the tab, then press the “Set password…” button. In older WinRAR versions, the password option may be under the “General” or “Advanced” tab directly. Compatible with WinRAR version 6
