The plot revolves around Adrián Doria, a successful businessman accused of murdering his lover in a locked hotel room. With the police building an airtight case against him, he hires Virginia Goodman, a renowned expert in witness preparation, to help him craft a defense. Over the course of one rainy night, the two characters reconstruct the events leading up to the crime, peeling back layers of lies to reveal a truth far more complex than anticipated.
